    About Matthew

    Thanks to several amazing mentors and a willingness to evolve, I worked my way up to Director of Marketing for NOVA® Home Loans after starting in the mortgage industry as a receptionist in 2002. During my tenure, I drove countless relationships and leads to our Loan Officers, boosting their individual businesses and NOVA as a whole. After 18 years, I’ve decided to make the switch to origination and become a Loan Officer myself. After spending over a decade identifying key strategies and technology for Loan Officers, I know the kind of dedication and vigilance it takes to put borrowers and Realtors first and help them achieve their goals. I pride myself on my listening skills and believe that each person’s individual needs require care and attention. Since my mortgage mind was shaped by some of the best in the business, I often joke that I’m like Bane from Batman – I did not merely “adopt” the mortgage industry. Rather, I was “born in it, molded by it.” In my spare time, I enjoy football, cooking, and “wind therapy” on my motorcycle. I stay grounded by spending time with the people I love, including my wife Jaclyn, son Tristen, and daughter Harper.
