    About Jim

    Jim has worked in the mortgage industry for the past 19 years. Prior to coming to NOVA® Home Loans, he was a branch manager of another mortgage company for 8 years and he feels this management experience and the knowledge he gained during his tenure there distinguish him from his competitors. Jim feels that his communication skills and extensive knowledge of loan programs are a real benefit to clients and real estate agents alike. He feels his most important responsibility as a loan officer is to tell clients the truth about their loan in forthright and easy to understand terms. He attributes 3 simple practices to his longstanding success in the mortgage business:

    1. Open communication with all parties throughout the transaction

    2. Treating each transaction as if it were his only one, and

    3. Taking extra care to complete the necessary steps in the loan process the first time.

    Jim holds a BA in Business Management. He has earned certificates for completion of Todd Duncan’s Mortgage Mastery and Dale Carnegie-Effective Speaking and Human Relations programs and is a member of Toast Masters. Prior to his career in the mortgage industry he sold residential and commercial real estate. Jim was Past President of Southern Arizona Mortgage Bankers Association and Past President of Casas Adobe Business Club.
