Jon Volpe joined Ray Desmond, Founder and President of NOVA HOME LOANS, in 1995 following graduation from Stanford University and a successful professional football career. Jon is now the co-owner of the company. NOVA's phenomenal growth can be attributed in part to the streamlined processing system developed by Jon using the knowledge of engineering he acquired at Stanford, and the teamwork principles he learned and practiced during his football career. NOVA was one of the first mortgage brokers in the country. NOVA is currently licensed as a mortgage bank, which means decisions may be made locally, but continues to offer the flexibility of a broker, relying on the extensive network of resources developed over the past 25 years. Jon has ranked among the Top 200 Loan Officers in the U.S. since 1998. He was ranked the #1 originator in the U.S. for 3 years 2000-2003 by Mortgage Originator Magazine, Origination News and Broker Magazine.
