Family Hack of the Week

These Dijon Chicken Wings, courtesy of Food Network, are perfect for March Madness game days – or anytime you want a crowd-pleasing treat. Yields 6 to 8 servings.

Position oven racks in the upper and lower thirds and preheat to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly brush two large baking dishes with vegetable oil. Pat 4 pounds of chicken wings dry, then season with 2 teaspoons kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Arrange the wings in the prepared dishes and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through, until the wings are golden and crisp.

While the wings bake, whisk together 3/4 cup Dijon mustard, 1/2 cup honey, 3 tablespoons mustard powder, and 1/2 teaspoon finely grated garlic. Remove the wings from the oven, toss with the mustard mixture until evenly coated, and return to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until glossy and glazed. Serve warm.
