Family Hack of the Week

Celebrate National Peach Month with this classic Peach Crumble from Martha Stewart. This recipe yields 8 servings and is theperfect way to enjoy peach season.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, toss 2 pounds peaches (cut into 1/2-inch wedges) with 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 4 teaspoons cornstarch and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.

For the topping, beat 6 tablespoons softened unsalted butter and 1/4 cup light brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt with your hands until large clumps form. Scatter topping evenly over the peach filling.

Bake 40-50 minutes, or until the center is bubbling. If the topping browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil. Let cool 20 minutes before serving, ideally warm with vanilla ice cream.
